Policy Adviser (Humanitarian)
Oxfam Purpose: To work with others to find lasting solutions to poverty and suffering. Job Purpose: To play an active role as part of a global Oxfam team influencing international response to conflict and humanitarian need. This will involve research, policy development, political strategy, lobby, external representation, and alliance-building - both delivering directly and supporting colleagues around the world to deliver. In coordination with media and campaign colleagues, overseas offices, and other Oxfam affiliates, the post holder will work on established priority countries and on new humanitarian crises, as well as addressing themes such as gender and conflict, protection of civilians and the challenges facing the international humanitarian aid system. Oxfam is looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join the Economic Justice Policy Team and work on Oxfam's ambitious global campaign to achieve food justice in a world where nearly 900 million people are still going hungry everyday. In a time of increasingly constrained resources, Oxfam through our GROW campaign aims to tackle the root causes of hunger in order so that everyone has enough to eat, always.
The postholder will play a central role in developing policy to help Oxfam influence decision-makers on issues such as land, climate change and agriculture. The role will be at the forefront of our lobbying efforts to bring about changes in policy at UK, EU and global levels, as well as supporting advocacy in developing countries, to make a real difference to poor people's lives. Working closely with our research, programmes, media and campaigns teams, and colleagues around the world, this post is an exciting opportunity to have an impact on decisions which affect the future of millions of people globally, as part of Oxfam's global campaigning network.
This crucial role requires an understanding and knowledge of development and the issues central to food justice - agriculture, land and climate change. Importantly, it also requires strong political and policy analysis skills, experience of lobbying and advocacy, and a willingness and ability to work on multiple issues relevant to the GROW campaign.
Key to success will be clear and strategic thinking, excellent policy analysis across a range of issues, and an aptitude for thinking and acting politically to achieve impact and influence. It also requires an ability to understand new and complex issues quickly, and a flair for communicating to diverse audiences.

Monitoring Evaluation Accountibility and Learning Coordinator
The responsibilities of the job holder include: Development and management of Oxfam Bangladesh MEL system
- Lead the development and sign-off on the Oxfam Bangladesh MEL framework.
- Ensure that the country MEL framework is consistent with the Oxfam International MEL principles, framework and policies.
- Lead and manage the design and operationalization of the Oxfam Bangladesh MEL system and processes.
- Ensure strong participatory elements in the Oxfam Bangladesh MEL system, particularly the role of partners, consistent with the Oxfam International MEL principles and policies.
- Oversee the implementation of and compliance/delivery of different programme teams to the country MEL system, including linking different affiliate MEL systems.
- Coordinate/liaise with relevant MEL personnel and processes at the regional and global level as necessary, as well as within individual affiliates.
- Engage consultants and other third-party resources to ensure continuous development and strengthening of the MEL system.
- Produce Joint Annual Report for different stakeholders like government and mass people.
- Lead the Program Baseline study and Evaluation process.
- Assist the CLT and the individual programme leads/responsible persons in identifying respective programme MEL priorities.
- Assist in the design and development of individual programme MEL system.
- Ensure that there is common understanding among CLT members and programme leads/responsible persons on a unified MEL framework and how individual programme MEL contribute to the overall Oxfam Bangladesh MEL system to Organise relevant training and other capacity-building events and processes to ensure that programmatic leads/responsible persons are able to effectively lead and operationalize their respective programme MEL.
- Provide technical guidance to programme teams with planning the design and implementation of baseline/midline and other data requirements to support programme analysis, the development and use of monitoring tools and instruments (e.g., objective/target setting, monitoring formats, etc.), as well reporting of programme progress.
- Undertake periodic monitoring and technical support visits to programme areas to assess progress against agreed MEL system and recommend corrective actions as appropriate.
- Work closely with Programme Focal Points to ensure appropriate feedback mechanisms are incorporated into programme teams' and partners' projects.
- To ensure effective common understanding between Oxfam and partners on the MEL objectives and framework of individual programmes organise orientation/workshop
- Assist programme leads/responsible persons and partners in identifying relevant areas in partner MEL systems that need strengthening and aligning to the requirements of the individual programme and overall Oxfam MEL objectives and requirements.
- Assist the concerned Oxfam staff in building relevant capacity within partners in the development and operationalization of relevant MEL processes that enables partners to effectively contribute to the individual programme and overall Oxfam MEL objectives and requirements, especially in terms of reliable programme information.
- Work closely with Programme Coordination groups (Focal Points) under Country Operating Model to ensure appropriate feedback mechanisms are incorporated into programme team' and partners' projects.
- Provide training to partner organizations on assessment and mini-research, community participation and gender integration, accountability together with other Programme Teams
- Organize Partner Peer Learning meeting to share programme strategies and best practices including Gender, Accountability and Community Participation aspects
- Lead and manage the organisation and conduct of appropriate Oxfam and partners annual review and reflection sessions, as specified in the Oxfam Bangladesh MEL framework and system and as a key accountability mechanism.
- Contribute to Country Learning Reviews (CLR) by preparing, disseminating and analysing data, lessons learnt, good practices and statistical, qualitative and anecdotal evidences derived from various Oxfam programmes and activities.
- Support managers in organising quarterly monitoring reviews o Assist the CLT and programme teams to carry out end-of-term programme evaluations for each programme and with a process for consolidation into an overall country programme review towards the end of the strategic plan period.
- Lead the design, planning and conduct of key impact assessment exercises, whether programmatic, thematic, geographic or crosscutting, as may be agreed by the CLT and/or as a requisite to strategic programme/JCAS review processes.
- Lead in the design, planning and conduct of key thematic learning activities and processes for staff and partners, as may be agreed by the CLT.
- Lead in sharing MEL work and resources and MEL-related training and capacity building activities across Oxfam and provide technical and other support to MEL activities
- Provide technical input to the concern teams to document and disseminate best practices and lessons learnt
- Provide technical input to the concern teams to explore and document the process of community-centred approaches to innovate, demonstrate and replicate learning
- Lead in the conduct and dissemination of literature reviews, secondary data analysis and synthesis for papers, proposals and representations, as appropriate
- Lead in the collection of positive impact stories and photos from Oxfam and partners projects and prepare them to be used for shared learning and fund-raising purposes.
- Support in the organisation and conduct of regional/global learning events, as needed.
- During development of new project/program support the concern team to identify the monitoring framework with necessary indicators.
- Assist/Advise the CLT in the planning, design, organisation and conduct of mid-term and end-term JCAS review.

Humanitarian Logistics Officer
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To identify training requirements for partner logistics staff and provide required coaching/training/mentoring.
- To support the setting up objectives and development plans for field based logistics officers of Oxfam and partners.
- Logistics assessment of the local organizations for new project and reassessment of the existing partners To ensure effective logistics management and controls in relation to the Humanitarian and Development projects.

En nuestro comité de Guadalajara necesitamos personas dinámicas y comprometidas que deseen formar parte del equipo.
Referencia VGCG 0513Intermón Oxfam somos personas que luchamos, con y para las poblaciones desfavorecidas y como parte de un amplio movimiento global, con el objetivo de erradicar la injusticia y la pobreza, y para lograr que todos los seres humanos puedan ejercer plenamente sus derechos y disfrutar de una vida digna. ¿Quieres formar parte de nuestro equipo?
¿Cuáles serán tus funciones?
- Colaborar como voluntario o voluntaria en una TIENDA DE COMERCIO JUSTO consiste en realizar al menos un turno a la semana (mañana o tarde) y colaborar en la realización de las actividades propias de un establecimiento comercial: pedidos y colocación de mercancía, atención al público, inventarios, gestión del almacén, etc. además de participar en las reuniones de equipo, formaciones y actividades de sensibilización de comercio justo.
- Colaborar como voluntario o voluntaria en los EQUIPOS DE MOVILIZACIÓN SOCIAL consiste en colaborar en la difusión de nuestros mensajes de campañas para lograr que lleguen al mayor número de personas, a través de acciones muy diversas: contribuir al diseño y participar en nuestras actividades de sensibilización, actos de calle, recogidas de firmas y difusión de nuestro trabajo en diversos actos públicos, a través de las redes sociales, etc.
¿Qué estamos buscando?
- Personas con motivación por la solidaridad, la cooperación al desarrollo y la lucha contra la pobreza.
- Voluntad de adquirir un compromiso estable de al menos una mañana o una tarde a la semana (para el equipo de tienda de Comercio Justo)
- Posibilidad de colaborar algunos fines de semana (algunas actividades de Movilización Social)
- Compromiso de participar en las reuniones y sesiones formativas de los equipos.

- Unirte a un gran equipo humano de personas voluntarias y contribuir a la misión de Intermon Oxfam integrándote en los equipos de comercio justo y Movilización Social y en la dinámica de nuestra organización.
- Formación en temas globales de Intermón Oxfam, Campañas y comercio justo y formación específica en las actividades en las que contribuirás.
