Today, I’m packing my bags and heading off to Enniskillen in Northern Ireland for the G8 Summit.

There's enough food in the world to feed everyone. So why does one person in every eight still go to bed hungry?

This month, eight people will meet in Northern Ireland - and they can start to answer this one question. 



In 2000, the world set the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) as a global framework to halve extreme poverty by 2015 and has been working since then to achieve them.

There have been some significant achievements, such as Nepal's success in reducing the infant mortality rate by one third in five years.
