2011: A year in pictures

The year 2011 has been marked by serious crises and disasters, having huge impacts on millions of people's lives, from East Africa to Japan, from Ivory Coast to Pakistan.

Oxfam responded to these crises, by helping the most vulnerable people, with both emergency and long-term programs.

In 2011, we also launched a global campaign, GROW, which seeks to ensure that there is enough to eat in the face of dwindling land, water and energy resources, the gathering pace of climate change and increasing food price volatility.
