Last OECD Working Party on Aid Effectiveness

The last meeting of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Working Party on Aid Effectiveness should finalise the creation of a new structure called the Global Partnership on Effective Development Cooperation. The European Commission has been involved in the negotiations to create this new structure, which is in charge of monitoring how effective donors’ aid is in achieving development targets. Oxfam is calling on the European Commission to ensure that donors are progressing in making their aid more effective.
