A Situation Analysis on the HIV/Aids Epidemic in Burundi and Oxfam International’s Potential Role in the National Response

With the aim of developing strategies for mainstreaming HIV/AIDS in the various programs financed by Oxfam International (OI), OI commissioned an analysis of the HIV/AIDS situation in Burundi. This analysis was carried out in conjunction with a mapping of partners of OI in Burundi, to understand their HIV/AIDS programming capacities. It is within this framework that this work has been carried out, to enable OI to develop its strategic plan form a well-informed background.
