Correction: IMF quota share

Luxemburg has a larger calculated quota share than Argentina and South Africa at the IMF, not a larger voice, as we said in our statement of 21 April.

A member’s voting power at the IMF is largely, but not entirely, determined by their quota share. The corrected statement is:

Oxfam spokesperson Elizabeth Stuart said: “It’s outrageous that a country like Luxemburg has a greater quota share at the IMF than South Africa or Argentina.”
