SUPPORTER MARKETING VISION: To engage with the general public, corporate partners, major donors and trusts in such a way that income is generated and grown on a sustainable basis.   TEAM PURPOSE: To engage and enable a mass number of people to give their time and talents to raise funds for Oxfam.   JOB PURPOSE: The primary focus of this role is on maximising the acquisition, conversion, value and retention of supporters who hold an Oxfam Get Together. You will ensure that supporters are well supported with timely and effective communications, materials and support, and that internal processes are in place to enable a rewarding experience, ensuring longer-term supporters of Oxfam. The Oxfam Get Together is one of our key community fundraising events that currently takes place on or around International Women's Day (8 March). Each year we ask our supporters to get together with friends, at work or in the community, do whatever they love doing to celebrate International Women's Day, and raise money to help women around the world living in poverty. Propósito del Puesto:

Dirigir y coordinar recursos y procesos del proyecto cofinanciado por la UE y Oxfam GB denominado: "Seguridad alimentaria, políticas y nuevos modelos de negocios entre pequeñas/os productores/as y mercados en tres contextos de América Latina (Colombia, Guatemala y Honduras)" que tiene como propósito "Facilitar el acceso a conocimiento (a través de investigaciones) y construir experiencias (pilotos) que introduzcan innovaciones en las relaciones entre actores de los sistemas agroalimentarios, mejorando el acceso a mercados, los ingresos, el acceso a activos y las capacidades de pequeñas/os productores, y promoviendo seguridad alimentaria, equidad y sostenibilidad." El proyecto se encuentra actualmente iniciando el tercer año de ejecución.

El proyecto bajo su responsabilidad tiene un ámbito rural, con conexiones con gobiernos locales, nacionales y con organismos regionales. Oxfam is looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join the Economic Justice Policy Team and work on Oxfam's ambitious global campaign to achieve food justice in a world where nearly 900 million people are still going hungry everyday. In a time of increasingly constrained resources, Oxfam through our GROW campaign aims to tackle the root causes of hunger in order so that everyone has enough to eat, always.

The postholder will play a central role in developing policy to help Oxfam influence decision-makers on issues such as land, climate change and agriculture. The role will be at the forefront of our lobbying efforts to bring about changes in policy at UK, EU and global levels, as well as supporting advocacy in developing countries, to make a real difference to poor people's lives.
