Cumbre del G20 en Cannes, Francia
- Los países del G20 representan cerca del 90% del producto nacional bruto global, 80% del comercio mundial, y dos tercios del total de la población en el mundo. ¿No debería entonces ser su responsabilidad alcanzar avances reales durante la cumbre del 3 y 4 de noviembre en Cannes?
- En todo el mundo, una idea que va ganando terreno: la de un impuesto aplicado a las transacciones financieras podría generar miles de millones de euros para combatir la pobreza
- La subida de los precios de los alimentos ya ha sumido a millones de personas a la pobreza. Esta crisis amenaza con empeorar en el futuro. Firma nuestra petición global invitando a los y las líderes del G20 a actuar ahora.
Lo que debió ser una cumbre clave del G20 para hacer realidad una prosperidad global se ha quedado corta en sus resultados, pero alguna de las ideas más importantes lograron mantenerse a pesar de la oposición de algunos países.
