Oxfam welcomes the Kenyan government's announcement that the Ifo II camp will be allowed to open. They are walking for days or weeks across the desert and arrive weak and malnourished, and the sooner aid can be provided the more lives can be saved. Oxfam water systems and latrines are in place and ready to use as soon as the refugees can move in.
