Reporting to the Manager, Program Development, the Program Officer (PO) provides Head Office support to Oxfam’s Africa-based field staff in the administration, management and implementation of a portfolio of development projects focused on capacity building for women’s rights. The one-year term covers the final year of a 5-year program co-funded by Oxfam and CIDA. The Program Officer ensures effective Head Office monitoring of these projects and programs, and supports the Program Co-ordinator and Manager to manage operational and reporting relationships with the funder and other stakeholders. The PO may also engage with a range of external stakeholders to promote Oxfam programs, advance good practices and disseminate learnings.
