With Asia being home to over two-thirds of the world's poorest people, you will help us improve our gender based livelihoods work in the region by driving evidence based learning of programmes across Asia The role In this new role as part of the Programme Performance and Accountability Team, you will provide strategic leadership and drive improvements to the quality and impact of Oxfam's Gender and MEL programmes across Asia. With a specific emphasis on Women's Livelihoods, you will work with Global and Regional Advisors to understand how programmes operate and draw on your insight and skills to train and support our teams on the ground. Sharing your knowledge, you will build on our capacity for monitoring, evaluation and learning to shape a stronger, more proactive and integrated approach to MEL - enabling Oxfam staff and partners to further improve the design and effectiveness of programmes and projects, drive the impact of future programmes and deliver the maximum benefit to people across Asia. What we're looking for With a strong technical background in MEL, you will have experience of gender rights and women's economic empowerment which you will be to apply within an Asia context. Propósito del Puesto:

El proyecto bajo su responsabilidad tiene un ámbito rural, con conexiones con gobiernos locales, nacionales y con organismos regionales. Está orientado a mujeres rurales, pequeños productores y productoras rurales y sus familias. Se enfoca en cuatro líneas de trabajo: acceso a mercados, seguridad alimentaria, incidencia política, investigación y gestión de aprendizajes y conocimiento.
