You will be responsible for the management and coordination of bidding and tendering activities at Oxfam Germany and for Oxfam affiliates in other countries, with a focus on funding opportunities in the German market. The position reports to the Head of Institutional Fundraising. In particular, you will:

  • Screen, observe and follow-up on bidding and tendering opportunities from German donors, in particular the German International Cooperation (GIZ) and the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW)
  • Analyse and manage communications regarding tender opportunities with Oxfam affiliates globally
  • Act as the contact person for the Oxfam confederation for bids and tenders within the German market
  • Manage and coordinate bids and tenders from German donors on behalf of the Oxfam Confederation
  • Develop and maintain relations with German as well as international consulting firms  
  • Develop proposals and provide support throughout the entire application process to acquire programme funding
  • Be responsible for the resulting contract management and quality assurance (e.g. regarding donor compliance)
  • Liaise with other bidding and tendering divisions within the Oxfam Confederation
Ihr Profil: 
  • University degree or higher education in a relevant area
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field of business development and tendering/consulting in the German market / with German donors
  • Senior-level experience and skills regarding proposal development at international level for German funding
  • Several years’ experience in the consulting industry
  • Experience in acquisition and implementation of GIZ and/or KfW tenders
  • Sound knowledge of the German tender landscape
  • Proven analytical skills and the ability to think strategically
  • Independent and results-oriented working style
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as negotiation skills
  • Strong team-player
  • Experienced with MS-Office software
  • German to a native speaker level, fluent verbal and written English; good knowledge of French and Spanish is desirable
  • Identification with Oxfam`s goals and values

Ihr Profil:
