EU Competitiveness Ministers’ meeting

Ministers expect to agree their common position on EU reporting rules for extractive industries – that is the compromised EU Accounting and Transparency Directives, which will come out of the so called ‘trialogue’ negotiations (between the European Parliament, EU Council and European Commission). The European Commission put forward the “Accounting and Transparency Directives” blueprint last October.
