EU member states to adopt conclusions on social protection
During the Cyprus Presidency, Development Ministers will adopt conclusions on social protection in response to the Commission's communication. Social protection uses income transfer and provision of services to protect people in poor countries from the effects of chronic poverty and a range of risks and shocks. It aims to promote social inclusion and social justice, as well as to assure income security, quality education and healthcare for all.
