United Nations climate change talks

World governments will meet in Doha, Qatar, for the UN Climate Change Conference, to firm up the outcomes of the Durban conference held in 2011. Oxfam hopes that the EU will arrive at these talks with a strong determination to make concrete agreements to scale up climate finance between 2013 and 2020. The EU should spearhead efforts to put together a climate finance package for 2013-2015 that is at least double the levels of the Fast Start Finance period (€7.2 bn), and include a commitment to fill the Green Climate Fund with $10-15 billion over the next three years.
