Global Week of Action for Education 2007
Everyone has the right to an education. But there are 80 million children out of school and almost 1 billion adults who cannot read or write.
For the last five years Global Week of Action has been building momentum, ensuring local and national leaders are obliged to put education and literacy on top of the political agenda and this year is no exception. You can take part by adding yourself to the world's longest chain, online.
JOIN UP – education rights now! is the 2007 campaign run by the Global Campaign for Education to make sure Education For All becomes a reality.
By joining the chain you will be sending a message to world leaders, asking them to spend more on education. As well as adding yourself, you can add your own text, pictures, sounds and videos.
We need you to JOIN UP! to make sure every child goes to school. Be part of the world's longest chain, and make sure your voice is heard!
