The Asia Power Analysis Update is a review and updating of the Asia Power Analysis produced in October 2014. This update aims to provide 1) an updated analysis of the influence and power of key regional institutions and actors; 2) add the inequality issue focus of Oxfam and 3) Be more specific by doing a power map of specific actors and spaces within the institutions that Oxfam can influence, so as to enable targeted influencing and advocacy.

Background and rational
The 4-year EC funded Project, Improving Regional Food Security in the South Caucasus through National Strategies and Smallholder Production, was launched in September 2013 in Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia and aims to improve food security and nutrition through its advocacy efforts and inclusion of small-holder farmers’ interests in the governance processes in Georgia and Armenia.
The 4-year EC funded Project, Improving Regional Food Security in the South Caucasus through National Strategies and Smallholder Production, was launched in September 2013 in Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. The overall objective of the Project is to contribute to the improvement of food security and nutrition in the South Caucasus through small holder farmers' representation in the governance processes.
The Specific Objective of the Project is to contribute to the design and implementation of effective food security and nutrition strategies in the South Caucasus through the active participation of small holder farmers' representative bodies.
