What is COP21 Paris ?

The COP21 UN Climate Conference took place from 30 November to 11 December 2015, in Paris, France. These climate talks have been a land-mark step towards global action to tackle climate change but the result has not done enough to ensure that we can avoid a 3°C world or secure sufficient climate funding for vulnerable communities to adapt to increasingly unpredictable and extreme weather.

Governments must return to the negotiating table before the new agreement takes effect from 2020 to strengthen pledges of emissions cuts and agree to new finance levels.

Where to from here? COP21 is over but we will continue to work on climate change and to fight for the action needed to support the poorest and most vulnerable people around the world.
