What is Financing for Development ?

From 13-16 July, World leaders gather at the UN Conference on Financing for Development (FfD) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to negotiate an important political agreement on how to finance, support, and enable the new sustainable development agenda.

This third FfD conference is part of a landmark year for international development, with the UN Post 2015 Summit in September, and the COP21 on Climate change, in Paris, at the end of the year.
In a world where financial rules are rigged, and global financing disadvantages the poorest countries, the 2015 Financing for Development conference is a once in a decade opportunity to ensure that efforts to fight climate change, poverty and inequality are funded fairly.

If you want to help to rebalance the power, if you care about tackling poverty, climate change and inequality, now is the time to speak-out and take action.
