Ebola outbreak in West Africa - Oxfam's response

Oxfam has reached over 1.4 million people in Ebola affected countries since the start of our response in May 2014. Today, the Ebola outbreak is easing—but it is not over. We are working with partners and communities to track down cases and prevent new hotspots from emerging. We can not stop fighting the Ebola outbreak until we get to zero cases in West Africa.

President Johnson Sirleaf and Oxfam call for $60m Liberia school upgrade

Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and international agency Oxfam today called on donors and others to join forces to support the government’s $60m appeal to upgrade Liberian schools with water and sanitation facilities as thousands of children across the country return to school for the first time in six months.
