Tropical Cyclone Winston (TC Winston) struck Fiji on the 20th February 2016 causing severe and extensive damage to communities across the country. In the wake of the cyclone, governments, NGOs and the donor community mobilised in response to the enormous devastation brought by TC Winston. Relief and recovery programmes were launched to meet the immediate and critical needs of those affected, and to support local and national recovery efforts.
