The whole world is experiencing global warming, and Africa is one of the most vulnerable continents, particularly in regions where food shortages are already a reality. Women farmers are hit hardest by these changes in climate.
The two massive earthquakes that struck Nepal on 25th April and 12th May have left hundreds of thousands families without shelter and livelihoods. As the winter approaches, we urgently need your help to keep saving lives and support Nepalese people towards long term recovery.
Since 1997 we have supported the National Association of Small Farmers to help and encourage women to become food producers. They learn environmentally-friendly farming techniques and participate in workshops on economic empowerment and gender-based violence.
