Oxfam International Board of Supervisors’ chair steps down

Oxfam International Chair of the Board of Supervisors, Dr Henrietta Campbell, has announced that for personal reasons she is stepping down effective 31 March. Dr Campbell’s deputy, Ricardo Acuna, will take over the position on an interim basis for up to six months while the Board proceed to appoint a new chair.

Chema Vera, Oxfam International's Interim Executive Director, said:

“Etta has been a tower of strength in helping guide Oxfam through our new strategic planning process, our governance changes and the deep improvements we continue to pursue in making our organisation a safer place for our staff, partners and the people whom we work alongside. We are privileged to have in Ricardo Acuna an able deputy to steer through the appointment of a Dr Campbell’s successor.”
