Our Campaign

We campaign for feminist solutions that prioritise care, well-being, and freedom, putting people and the planet above profit, creating a world free from all forms of gender-based violence where women and queer people are valued in economic, climate, and social policies.

Realizing this vision requires change. A more equal future is possible—but only if we challenge the unfair systems that fuel inequality and deny people dignity and rights.

What stands in the way?

Deep-rooted Systems of Oppression

Systemic violence against women, girls, and queer individuals is widespread and deeply rooted in power imbalances that have been sustained for centuries by patriarchy, capitalism, racism, and colonialism. These oppressive systems manifest across all areas of life, including conflicts, economic inequality, and climate breakdown. Marginalized communities—particularly poor, Black, Indigenous, disabled, and queer people—are disproportionately affected by this violence. Many of the policies and practices in place today either fail to protect them from harm or, even worse, actively contribute to their marginalisation.

Manifestations of Gendered Violence

This violence takes many forms, from lack of physical safety, protection, and denial of security to sexist and racist laws that limit access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. Unpaid and undervalued care work—mostly done by women—is worsened by global crises, trapping them in cycles of unpaid labor that go unrecognised and unrewarded.

Weakened Social Support Systems

The problem is further worsened by policies that weaken social support systems like healthcare and education, and shift responsibility onto individuals, making access harder. Climate crisis and global inequalities—worsened by colonial practices—widen the gap between the privileged elite and the most vulnerable, especially women and girls. Systems of privilege—largely run by men—actively exclude marginalized groups from economic and political participation, perpetuating these cycles of exploitation.

People, Planet, and Power: A Feminist Future

Feminist movements around the world are pushing back. They are striving for a world where equality, justice, and human dignity are the foundation of society. These movements are actively working to dismantle oppressive systems and offer a vision of the future where all forms of gendered violence are eradicated, and true gender equality becomes a reality for everyone.

To combat this issue, we need:

Feminist alternatives and solutions that prioritises wellbeing for all
Accurate data to understand and monitor the systemic violence.
A strong feminist movement to challenge patriarchy and capitalism
A just and feminist climate transition
Rethink care as a public good and fundamental human right, making it accessible to all.
Free and universal public services – including care – and social protection for all.
Fair taxation to support these initiatives.

Feminist goals ahead:

Governments are diverse, representative, and provide universal public services.
Everyone is held accountable for upholding human rights.
Our climate and economy are shaped with fairness—undo the harm caused by IMF and World Bank policies that deepen debt and poverty.
Peace and well-being are prioritised over profit.

What we demand:

Public care, human right: Care is a universal human right and public good.
Feminist climate justice for all: Climate action must center gender and prioritize marginalized groups.
Feminist economy for people and planet: Values well-being and care over profit, fair taxes, and invests in public services.
