Eighteen months of war has pushed Yemen to the brink of catastrophe and left millions of people running out of means of survival, warned Oxfam in a new report published today.

Since March 2015, more than three million Yemenis have fled their homes, displaced by ongoing conflict. This paper sets out what they are facing and what governments, armed parties and agencies must do to help them get back on their feet and reduce the chance of an entrenched, long-lasting crisis.

Condemning the attack on an aid convoy in Aleppo, Oxfam said there is the real risk Syria will fall even further into the abyss.

Since 2009, millions of people in the Lake Chad Basin have been affected by a conflict originating in Nigeria. Over 2.6 million people have been displaced by the violence of Boko Haram, and subsequent military operations. This paper aims to give voice to them and calls for help.

In response to renewed violence in South Sudan on the fifth anniversary of the country's independence, Oxfam calls for an end to the fighting and for all parties to allow humanitarian access to people affected.
