Coronavirus is threatening us all. With each day, in every family, community and country, wherever we may be, more of us are being personally affected by it. As we all take steps to protect our loves ones and families, the virus continues to spread globally, reaching the most vulnerable and poorest people across the globe.

For communities living in overcrowded conditions, and those without access to clean water, sanitation and healthcare support, the impact could be devastating. Unchecked, the virus could kill millions and leave half of the global population in poverty.

No individual, community or country can deal with this crisis alone. To beat the pandemic and avert harm to the lives of billions we must work together. We need to act across all countries and for every person. Fighting for some but not others is not an option. It only fuels risk for us all.

No one is safe until everyone is safe.
