Coronavirus is threatening us all. With each day, in every family, community and country, wherever we may be, more of us are being personally affected by it. As we all strive to protect our loves ones and families, the virus continues to spread globally, reaching the most vulnerable and poorest people across the globe.
For communities living in overcrowded conditions, and those without access to clean water, sanitation and healthcare support, the impact is devastating. Unchecked, the virus could kill many more millions and leave half of the global population in poverty.
No individual, community or country can deal with this crisis alone. To beat the pandemic and avert harm to the lives of billions we must work together. We need to act across all countries and for every person. Fighting for some but not others is not an option. It only fuels risk for us all.
No one is safe until everyone is safe.
Help us save lives
Right now, we are on the frontlines in some of the world’s most vulnerable places, supporting our local partners and acting to save as many lives as we can. We have it in our power to protect the most vulnerable, poorest and greatest-at-risk populations. We need you to help us make a difference.
Demand a free vaccine for everyone
Our best chance of ending the COVID-19 pandemic is to ensure that everyone, everywhere has access to vaccines, free of charge. Big pharmaceutical corporations must allow the vaccines to be produced as widely as possible by sharing their knowledge free from patents.
We need a people’s vaccine, not a profit vaccine.
